Britta A. Koepf, CFP®, ChSNC®
OWNER AND FINANCIAL PLANNER
When Britta decided to work in personal finance, she researched the best way to enter the profession without compromising her ideals. She realized that the best way forward would be to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and practice in a fiduciary, fee-only, and holistic capacity.
Britta considers financial planning to be a helping profession. She has always striven to make her career provide more value than simply helping rich people get richer. In 2018, she decided to narrow her primary focus to serving those with disabilities and their families. As a Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®), Britta is equipped for the unique financial challenges of planning for the future for people with disabillities and chronic illness.
Britta provides comprehensive planning on an ongoing basis and enjoys working with clients interested in growing and sustaining their wealth as a means to achieving their ideal life, whether that involves traveling to exotic locations or making a difference in their communities.
Britta serves on the board of directors for the Alliance of Comprehensive planners. She is also a member of Achademy of Special Needs Planners (ASNP), XY Planning Network (XYPN), and National Association Personal Fianncial Advisors (NAPFA).
Britta has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Advisor Magazine, and Kiplinger's Personal Finance. She has also been interviewed in the NAPFA Nation, Autism Dad, and Wealthy Mom MD podcasts.
Britta and her husband, Craig Lawrie, live in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio with their dogs, Wombat and Kookaburra.
My fiduciary pledge to you
As an Alliance of Comprehensive Planners member, in my dealings with my clients, I pledge to be:
Holistic in outlook
I will consider everything I know about your relevant circumstances, family needs, goals, values, and aspirations when making comprehensive planning recommendations.
Professional in conduct
I will strive to maintain the highest ethical standards possible in my work and life. I will enhance my skills and credentials through ongoing continuing education, and I will refer you to other professionals when you need help in an area outside my expertise.
Educational in nature
I will guide you through your options and explain them clearly to help you make the best choices. I will always take the time to help you understand my advice.
Independent in compensation
I will never sell you a product other than holistic financial planning, nor will I take a commission or a referral fee from another professional. You will receive objective, unbiased advice from me.
Committed to your success
Holistic financial planning is a process, not an event, and I commit to adjusting your plan as your life goals and circumstances change.
